Acceptance of terms

By using MyChamaHub, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you use the service on behalf of a chama or group, you confirm that you have authority to manage that group’s records or account settings.

Description of service

MyChamaHub provides software tools for creating chamas, managing members, tracking contribution cycles, recording fines, initiating payment requests, maintaining transaction records, and generating reports.

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and devices secure, ensuring your profile details are accurate, and notifying support if you suspect unauthorized access.

Admin and member responsibilities

Administrators and secretaries are responsible for configuring chama settings, inviting the correct members, reviewing records, handling disputes, and ensuring that chama rules are communicated to members. Members are responsible for reviewing their obligations and reporting incorrect information promptly.

Chama data and accuracy

MyChamaHub depends on information entered by users, administrators, and connected payment providers. You should verify critical records, especially before making group decisions, distributing reports, or resolving disputes.

Payments and third-party providers

Payment requests may be handled by third-party providers such as M-Pesa, Rydyk, banks, hosting providers, Firebase, or other infrastructure and payment services. MyChamaHub does not require your M-Pesa PIN and does not guarantee provider availability, approval, processing times, or reversal decisions.

Subscriptions and billing

Some features may require a paid chama subscription. Subscription status, plan limits, billing periods, and access may depend on backend confirmation and payment provider callbacks. Fees, limits, and included features may change with notice through the app or public pages.

Acceptable use

You must not use MyChamaHub for unlawful activity, unauthorized access, fraud, harassment, data scraping, interference with service operations, or misrepresentation of chama records.

Limitations of liability

MyChamaHub is provided as software to help manage records and workflows. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, provider outages, user-entered errors, chama disputes, unauthorized account sharing, or decisions made solely from unverified records.

Service availability

We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but access may be interrupted by maintenance, internet issues, hosting outages, provider downtime, security incidents, or events outside our control.

Termination or suspension

Access may be suspended or terminated where required for security, non-payment, suspected misuse, legal compliance, or violation of these terms.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
